HSG Alumni House

FIRST FUNDRAISING PROJECT OF THE HSG FOUNDATION

HSG Alumni House – hotel service for the Weiterbildungszentrum Holzweid (WBZ – Executive Campus HSG)

The HSG Alumni guest house was built and opened in 2008 thanks to donations from alumni and friends of the HSG. Students at the Executive Campus HSG Holzweid can now stay overnight on site, which has a beneficial effect on their interaction and team spirit. The HSG Alumni House has increased the attraction of the WBZ for people attending multi-day courses. Around half of the participants on some of the training programmes stay overnight in the HSG Alumni House. This amounted to 9040 course participants in 2017. Thanks to the unique peaceful location on the Girtannersberg as well as the exceptionally good service and excellent value for money for overnight stays, the HSG Alumni House is also very popular for students and other people related to the university.
The HSG Alumni House was the first major project realised by the HSG Foundation. The great solidarity of friends and alumni, foundations and companies enables the HSG Foundation to initiate and implement important strategic projects at the University of St.Gallen. The HSG thereby aims to enhance its profile and play a key role in the international education system in the long term.
